Rates and Information

Should you decide to work with me, this serves as our ‘contract’ so please read thoroughly. By agreeing to this rate card, means you accept the terms and conditions as stated.  Failure to comply with anything listed below will delay or compromise the completion of the work. 

Please note: I am a Modern Calligrapher! Unfortunately, I do not offer traditional calligraphic faces, such as Italic, Copperplate or Spencerian. My style has been called modern and whimsical. Please be sure that this style is what you want….

Rates are non negotiable as they are well below market.  I try to keep prices down so that every budget can use my services!

Outer Envelope…. $3.00

Return Address Outer Envelope ….$3.00 ea.

Inner Envelope Guest Name only….$1.00 ea.

Place Cards / Escort Cards ….$1.50 ea.

Table Numbers ….$4.50 ea.

Custom Rubber Stamps …..$75.00 ea.

(Custom Rubber Stamps is a Return Address Option! – includes sketch, 2 revisions and a custom wood mountable stamp.  1-2 weeks.  Illustration will incur a fee)

Hand Lettered Menus/Chalkboards/Illustration ….Custom Price (Size and text needed for estimate)

Ink Color (Golds, Whites, etc.) ….$25.00 per 100

I will always do my best to match the color you are looking for, but it is not guaranteed.  If you are trying to match your invitation, please include one with your envelopes.  Any color other than BLACK will incur this charge.

Shipping and PickUp:

You can send via USPS, UPS or Fedex.  You, the client, pays for shipping.  I have had a great success with using USPS Priority Mail – it’s the least expensive, trackable and in some cases can be delivered in one to two days (depending on location)

There is a handling fee for shipping back to you of $15.00 (Flat Rate)

If you are local, I do accept drop offs.  I am in the Southern Brooklyn area.

Rush Fees

Unfortunately, I do not do overnight or on the spot work.  If work needs to be completed in less than agreed turnaround time, a rush fee will be charged, which is 50% of the full price charged, added to your invoice.  I can’t always offer this service, especially during Wedding Seasons (Spring/Fall)



Turnaround Time

Normal turnaround time is two to two and a half weeks.  During busy Wedding Seasons, it can be more.


Before work begins, a photo sample will be provided via email for your approval. It must be done on the provided stock.


You MUST look thru envelopes and request add’l or corrections w/n a 48hr period or an additional set up set up fee will be charged ($25.00)

I hold onto blank envelopes/stock after the initial job has been completed for easy changes or additions.  If envelopes / stock are not requested after 4 weeks, I will recycle your blank envelopes/stock

What You Provide:

Guest List

Please provide a printed (hard copy) of your guest

List should be paginated or stapled with your name, your wedding date and the date you hope to mail your invites out on the top of the first page.

I do not accept Excel Spreadsheets.

A simple list of your guests in a format similar to below works best

Salutation, Guest First Name, Last Name

Guest’s Partner or Guest Name (if applicable)


Apartment No/Unit No.

City, State Zip

If you would like the State spelled out, please indicate this on your list.
I normally spell out Avenue, Street, etc if room allows.
I usually write in “Apartment No. “
PLEASE DO NOT print out your guest list in a fancy font or font below 12 – 14 pt. size.
Because of the nature of my work, I do not ‘edit’ as I work, therefore your guests should be formatted the way you would like me to write them.  Please check for typos. If I have questions re: guest names, etc. I will contact you.
IF you are including an Inner Envelope, please specify on your Guest List how you would like the Inner Envelope to read. You can include this under the Guest’s address on the list.
If you are not specific, I will take the aesthetic lead.

Small changes, additions, etc. can be emailed to me.

Extra Envelopes / Extra Stock

You must provide extra envelopes and/or cards to allow for changes and errors.  Please provide 20% extra envelopes (or placecards/escort cards. Failure to provide this, cannot guarantee you will be enough envelopes for your job.

Please do not seal or stuff your envelopes


Please refer to samples from FB, Instagram or site.

Not all stationery is created equal!  Some envelopes and cards, are not suited for calligraphy ink and may fade, feather or not adhere, a test/sample would provide both of us with options in case this happens.


Payment is due upon completion of the work.  No deposit is required.  I accept cash (preferable) or Pay Pal.  An  Invoice will be emailed to you prior to delivery, shipment or pick up.
